Wolfgang Goldenleonard
From King's Maker: Triple Crown
Wolfgang Goldenleonard is the fourth prince and current King of Goldenleonard in the manhwa "King's Maker" and its sequel "King's Maker: Triple Crown". Born on July 26th, he is the only son of the late Lady Christine Luccia and the previous King of Goldenleonard. After surviving a devastating fire that destroyed his mother's manor, Wolfgang lived as a beggar on the streets, leading and caring for other orphaned children. He sacrificed himself to stop the palace from killing other boys named Wolfgang, which led to his return to the royal palace.
Character Analysis
Wolfgang Goldenleonard is known for his bravery, selflessness, and strong moral compass. Despite his royal status, he maintains the lessons learned from his time on the streets and his mother's teachings. He refuses to covet the king's possessions and shows genuine care for others, especially children in need. Under the guidance of his mentor and lover, Soohyuk Shin, Wolfgang grew into a fine young prince and eventually became the new King of Goldenleonard after slaying his father. Despite rocky beginnings to his reign, he received the dragon's blessing and married his beloved Finance Minister, Soohyuk Shin.
